Do I get paid?

Yes. Every study compensates you for your time and travel. The amount and schedule depend on the study; your coordinator explains both before you decide anything.

Is it safe to take part?

Every study follows a protocol approved by an ethics review board and the sponsor’s compliance standards. You get all the information in writing, in English or Spanish, before you sign anything, and you can ask as many questions as you need.

Can I leave a study once I start?

Yes. Participation is voluntary. You can stop at any time, for any reason, and it will not affect the care you receive from your own doctor.

What happens after I apply?

A coordinator calls you during office hours, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. On the call we review who can join the study and, if it fits, schedule your first visit at our Kendall site.

Do I need health insurance or a referral?

No. You do not need insurance or a referral from your doctor to apply. Study-related visits and exams are part of the study, and your coordinator explains exactly what is included before you decide.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. Our coordinators and study team work in English and Spanish, from the first call to the last visit.
